For over 40 years, I have been engaged with the aesthetics and status of the work of art. Despite my extensive experience, I am always pleasantly surprised when I encounter a poetic discourse that is recognizable in its uniqueness and originality. Such are the rich words of the poet Dragica Čarna, who devotes herself tirelessly to celebrating the biblical Lilith. This untamed and never fully defined figure of the absolute woman is for the author a unique arche, a poetic and mythological mother of all things, entirely equivalent to the philosophical arche, the origin. Because the poet's language is recognizable, we can realize at every descent into her essence that she speaks in her own name, invoking in us an active longing that never reaches the uniqueness of the poet's words, metaphors of desires, and revelations. With such a principle, the collection becomes its own rose of mystery or Silesius' flower without a why, and yet it continually compels us to aesthetic questioning and reflection without narcissistic answers or intellectual certainties. Dr. Evgen Bavčar, Ph.D. in Aesthetics and Philosophy, philosopher, photographer, writer, essayist, triple doctor, honorary scientist and director of the laboratory for the invisible at the Institute for Critical Studies in Mexico.
I have been writing my poems in these languages for years and I can easily express myself in them. The poems are original in each of the languages because I'm looking for expressions that are intimately connected with each of them.
Some of the poems were first written in Slovenian, others in Spanish, and some in Italian. And all with love for myself and life. The poems are the path within us. Meeting yourself. Talk to yourself. Work on yourself. This takes time and really requires effort. For most of us, the process is lifelong. This writing is one way of starting out, even though the process is individual.
Poems with a vision of a woman for a woman. Being reduced to the essence and then rebuilding oneself profoundly and deeply. Being transformed by it.
The poems have been written intensively for the last six years and are dedicated to WOMEN in all her images, joys, passions, playfulness, seductions, wills to live, passion, laughter as well as pain, sadness, challenges, anger, rejection, inadequacy, etc.
This is my sixth collection of poems that restore strength to a lost, forgotten, repressed, discarded woman who finds herself and is reborn even more rebellious, even wilder, even more naked, even more her own. The title of the collection is another mystery that I will reveal at the end of the year.
Poems that touch on the myth of the creation of the first woman, the goddess of all goddesses, the mother of all mothers, and the woman of all women.
And not just the myth, women today through her eyes, through her heart.
Here and now. Time makes itself beautiful with her lipstick, dresses in her skirt, and puts on her sandals.
By purchasing the collection, you will awaken, dear sisters and women, that primordial woman in you. Let this be a gift to yourself.
Friends, by purchasing the collection you will face and listen to the voice of the woman who lives among you, next to you, is your partner, wife, mistress, sister, friend, and you do not know many times what and how to deal with her.
It will also awaken in you that part of a man in which we are all and all - one.
Maybe through the poems, the image of the woman in your eyes will also become different.
